Total Mobile Power inverter technology delivers:

Highly efficient inverters at low DC supply voltages

  •  optimised for 24VDC but also suitable for 48V
  •  prototype 24VDC to 230VAC inverter has greater than 95% efficiency from 270W to 4200W and a peak efficiency of 97.2% at 1500W
  • ideally suited where there is an existing 24V supply (trucks, RVs, and boats),  for off grid houses  or for fuel cells.

Compact electronic power modules

  • needs only DC input reservoir capacitors and an output PWM filter to make an inverter.
  • current prototype capable of continuous output of 4kW at an ambient temperature of 40°C
  • production versions will be capable of 5kW continuous and 8kW for 3 seconds
  • form factor optimised for packing multiple modules into a single enclosure
  • single power module size 100 x 140 x 280mm
  • a 20kW inverter containing four power modules projected to be 440 x 540 x 230mm (w x h x d) and weigh less than 30kg.

Low no load power

  • less than 9W for a 5kW inverter
  • low power control electronics using a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)
  • low power innovative resonant gate drive technique (patent applied for)

DC to DC module also available

  • high power (up to 5kW)
